Miss Cucci's Homework: January 13-17 Independent Reading: Students should be reading 30 minutes per night. To go along with independent reading, students have a reading log to complete that is due on Friday. I suggest that your child complete one page per night.
I-Ready: It is also suggested that students complete 45 minutes of Reading lessons per week. This can count toward 30 minutes of reading time. For example, Monday night one could complete 15 minutes of IREADY and 15 minutes of independent reading. *I will not check IREADY minutes until the Sunday after a completed week.
Vocabulary/Spelling: As an option, students may complete 1 or 2 activities from their tic tac toe board. These are due on Thursdays and will be counted as extra credit. If a TIC TAC TOE activity is completed and it would be helpful to use as a study tool, students can wait to hand in the activity on the day of our test. Our next test is on Thursday, 1/16 on Lesson 8 words.
